About Noor
Hi, I’m Noor, a student at the University of Warwick studying Economics, Psychology and Philosophy. My passion for tutoring comes from my own experience studying Economics. Early on, I was predicted a B grade and struggled with many of the same concepts that students find difficult today. Through hard work, effective study techniques, and a genuine interest in the subject, I went on to achieve an A* with a score of 397/400, placing among the highest-performing students in the world.
What I enjoy most about tutoring is seeing that same transformation in others. There is nothing more rewarding than watching a student go from lacking confidence in a topic to understanding it independently and approaching exams with belief in their own ability. I aim to create a supportive environment where students feel comfortable asking questions, making mistakes, and developing both their knowledge and confidence.
My goal is not just to improve grades, but to help students genuinely understand Economics and realise their academic potential.

Having achieved an A* in Economics and tutored over 130 hours, I understand exactly what examiners look for in high-mark answers. Every lesson is tailored to the student’s needs, with a strong focus on exam technique, essay writing, data response questions, and common areas where students lose marks. Students receive personalised resources, structured homework, and detailed feedback to ensure consistent progress throughout the year. I also mark up to 3 entire past papers for each student weekly.
