I tutor because I want to share my knowledge and benefit it so that other students can also get top quality education so unlock lots of doors in the future, which they will need qualifications to get, especially a Maths qualification, leading to so many career paths and Universities!
I also enjoy helping children and seeing them develop and this is another reason why I want to tutor!

My lessons are from anyone aged 5 - 16, but main focus is from 5 - 13.
I can teach KS1, KS2, KS3 and some aspects of GCSE Maths (message me for more info on the GCSE topics I can teach!).
My typical lessons are 1 hour long and are structured like the following:
My lessons always start with a quick 5 minute starter (or homework check) from the previous lesson to make sure that the knowledge has stuck.
For the next 40 minutes I will do a lot of example and your turn questions based on that topic, starting easy and going to the hardest questions on that topic! I will also explain why the calculations work, so it all makes sense!
For the last 10 minutes students will have a go at a worksheet or an exam style question!
The last 5 minutes will then be a plenary of what we have learnt in that lesson.
