About Ismail
At the beginning of my A Level Maths course I was usually getting Ds and Es on my exams and I seriously considered quitting the subject midway through college. I had this false belief that I was incapable of doing Maths at an advanced level because I simply couldn't handle it and I wasn't good enough. Despite this, through teaching myself I managed to get an A in my final mock before my actual A Level exam and it all finally started to click and make sense. I hope to transform your grades like I did to mine !

As an A-level Maths tutor, my lessons are meticulously designed to foster a strong mathematical foundation while also challenging students to reach their fullest potential. Lessons typically last for 60-90 minutes, a balance to ensure comprehension without causing undue fatigue.
I employ a variety of teaching methods to suit different learning styles. For visual learners, I use diagrams and pictorial representations, whereas for those who learn by doing, I provide numerous practice problems. Auditory learners benefit from my detailed explanations and discussions.
Emphasising a two-way communication approach, I encourage students to ask questions and actively participate in the lesson. This promotes an interactive, engaging environment where students feel comfortable expressing their thoughts and doubts.
