About Fatima
My names Fatima, I was just like you… in need of help to gain that extra boost of confidence, right before my exams. I am fun, friendly and compassionate, always ready to listen to you whenever you need help. English is a subject that never came to me naturally, it is something I started to love and enjoy in order to understand and that’s what I did… I love reading books (I’m a bit of a hopeless romantic), reading books helped me broaden my range of vocabulary as well as helping me to underhow to write and structure texts.
I love watching films, films is a form of literature in my eyes, it paints a picture. Listening to music is also literature it creates a story through lyrical genius. All these things come from English. I’m here to help you not only gain that great grade at the end of the year but to make you fall in love with it, just as I did.

Methods that got me through GCSE English, as well as now is actively taking notes, using recall methods for key quotes etc.
Make sure you are aware of what the exam board wants from you for effective revision, for example: know your texts, learn the vocabulary as well as being able to structure your answers.
Past papers and questions are KEY!!! it helps you to understand how it will be structured out, giving you exam practice as well as a guideline of what sort of question will appear.
