About Fin
I really enjoy mathematics and chemistry, and am hoping to study chemistry at university- hopefully Oxford. My passion for my subjects has made revising less of a chore, and I actually enjoy a lot of the maths I am doing in A level further maths! Outside of school I play football for my local team, where I play wing-back. I also go to the gym and play guitar, for which I have a rock school grade 5 award.

I am very methodical and logical in my approach to tutoring. I try and make all of my students not only know and understand the content, but also have a deeper knowledge of how it was derived, and the significance of it. Personally, through taking the time to better understand my studies, it has helped me appreciate them more, thus making it more interesting. My lessons are highly interactive, and will mostly involve worked examples, through which the student can see how I would answer questions. From there I will get students to complete questions independently, which I will mark and review, giving them feedback on there work. This feedback loop is, in my opinion, the most effective way of learning: you learn the content, you practise the content, you review the content and your mistakes, you repeat.
