First lesson includes gathering information about my student(s); what they’re not excelling in and what they need that extra help with. Then, after that lesson I will design a plan that is best fitted for my student, to run alongside their weaknesses and get the weaknesses into the strengths. My structure would be to go over and over something and trying new ways of teaching. Repetition is scientifically proven to help long term memory. I have experience with tutoring other students. I also have done formal training with a company called Franklin’s that train post-16 students how to peer mentor and how to tutor. This training session lasted 6hrs and I am now mentoring students in the lower end of my school (years 7,8,9,10,11) I can also tutor primary students at any age.

Grace is very determined at helping younger students achieve. She listens to my daughters worries and can understand the stress some of our children are put through with school and lessons. My daughter was struggling with English Lit and Grace was able to help my daughter remember all the KEY quotes and how to analyse them. She is very cheap and worth it!!
