About Brendan
11 years of experience in music
I am grade 8 in both Drum kit and Piano
I have my Grade 5 Music theory and have extra theory knowledge from my own reading
I achieved a level 9 (the highest possible grade to achieve) in my music GCSE with almost flawless coursework marks (97% in composition, 100% in performance)
I am the percussionist in my school's jazz band and concert band
I've taught myself to play other instruments e.g. guitar, bass and recently saxophone.
I can teach up to GCSE levels of performance, composition and theory for piano or drum kit

I will start by asking a few questions to see where the student is at. If the student is an absolute beginner, I will start by teaching the absolute basics. This builds a solid foundation which makes learning easier. For the students that already know something about the instrument, I will work on improving their current skills and teaching new ones to expand their knowledge of music.
