About Stephanie
I am a recent college graduate with degrees in Psychology and Linguistics and have tutored and assistant taught various courses before. I have experience working with students of many cultural and linguistic backgrounds from elementary school all the way up through adulthood in English tutoring as well as in linguistic subjects including phonetics, phonology, and syntax.

My aim when tutoring is to empower my students to learn in ways that are most effective for them. Thus, I maintain a warm and student-centered approach, allowing the students' concerns and preferences to lead the way. I teach English in an exploratory, non-judgmental, and descriptivist manner to help build student confidence and encourage risk taking to optimize learning.
