About Micaela
Hello! My name is Micaela, and I am a licensed English teacher with nearly two years of experience teaching English to Korean and Japanese learners online. Throughout my teaching journey, I have worked with students of different ages and proficiency levels, helping them improve their speaking, grammar, pronunciation, vocabulary, reading, and overall communication skills.
As a teacher, I believe that every student deserves a supportive and respectful learning environment where they feel comfortable asking questions and making mistakes. Hi! I'm Micaela, a licensed English teacher with nearly two years of experience teaching English to Korean and Japanese students online. I believe that every student learns differently, so I tailor each lesson to match your goals, learning style, and current English level.
My teaching approach focuses on creating a comfortable and encouraging environment where students feel confident using English without worrying about making mistakes. I use practical conversations, guided practice, pronunciation exercises, grammar explanations, vocabulary building, and real-life situations to help students improve naturally and effectively.
A typical lesson begins with a short review of previous topics, followed by the main lesson based on your learning objectives. We then practice through interactive activities such as conversations, role-playing, reading, listening, or writing exercises.
