About Matthew

I have been teaching Latin full time in Massachusetts for a year, and have studied Ancient Greek, French, Spanish, and Arabic. I have tutored on and off for over a decade. I have taught both at the middle school and high school level, and have also tutored students from the college to graduate school level.

About the lesson

I use a data-driven approach to teaching. Using brief informal assessments, I measure the progress of students I tutor to identify problem areas. I have developed lessons to improve memory and access to vocabulary. My tutees have improved drastically in their classes as a result of these methods.

Licensed teacher of Latin and the classical humanities (Ancient Greek) in Massachusetts, also fluent in French.
