My tutoring approach is highly adaptive, tailored specifically to each student’s goals and academic level. Whether a student is aiming for a top-tier ACT score or seeking to improve their classroom English Language Arts (ELA) proficiency, I customize the curriculum to fit their needs.
Assessment-Led Growth: All students in grades K–9 begin with a comprehensive reading assessment to pinpoint specific standards for improvement. Students in grades 10–12 receive this same assessment alongside targeted ACT diagnostic practice.
Flexible Instruction: Lessons can range from traditional lecture-based instruction and project-based support to curriculum-aligned tutoring that mirrors current schoolwork.
Targeted Methodology: For long-term proficiency, I utilize short stories and novel-based studies to build foundational skills. For ACT prep, the focus shifts to a rigorous test-prep format, mastering the specific skills and strategies outlined by the ACT.
