About Samina
With 7 amazing years of K-12 biology instruction experience, I've specialized in making life sciences accessible, exciting, and meaningful for students pursuing diverse academic and career pathways! Elementary students (Grades K-5) begin their scientific exploration with me by discovering the amazing differences between living and non-living things, learning about plant and animal life cycles, exploring basic body systems, and understanding how organisms interact with their environment through fun experiments, nature observations, and interactive activities that make science feel magical. Middle school students (Grades 6-8) dive deeper into cellular biology, basic genetics, human anatomy and physiology, and ecosystem relationships through engaging demonstrations, virtual laboratory experiences, and hands-on learning that connects classroom concepts to real-world applications. High school students (Grades 9-12) master advanced biological concepts including molecular biology, complex genetics, biochemistry, evolution, and ecology through comprehensive instruction that prepares them for AP Biology examinations and college-level science courses. Every lesson incorporates scientific thinking development, laboratory skills training, research methodology practice, and critical analysis techniques that ensure both academic success and genuine appreciation for the natural world!
