About Dania
Hi! I’m Dania, a University of Toronto graduate in Neuroscience and Chemistry, a 4.0 GPA Dean’s List student, and a former Chemistry Teaching Assistant. I specialize in making Biochemistry clear, structured, and actually understandable—whether you’re in high school, first-year university, or tackling upper-level life sciences courses.
Throughout my academic journey, I’ve consistently performed at the highest level while also supporting students as a TA in Chemistry, where I helped break down difficult concepts and guide students through problem-solving strategies. I’ve also built a strong foundation in neuroscience research, which has strengthened my ability to connect biochemical concepts to real biological systems.
Why learn with me? Because biochemistry often feels overwhelming when it’s taught as memorization-heavy content. I focus instead on helping you understand the logic behind the systems. I break down pathways, mechanisms, and reactions into clear, step-by-step explanations so that everything starts to connect rather than feel like isolated facts. My goal is to make you think like the exam expects you to think—not just remember information.
I tailor my teaching to each student’s learning style, slowing things down when needed and reinforcing concepts through repetition, diagrams, and exam-style questions. I focus on what actually improves grades: understanding core principles, recognizing patterns in questions, and applying knowledge efficiently under pressure.

My teaching methodology is structured, concept-driven, and highly exam-oriented. I break down complex biochemical pathways and mechanisms into simple, logical steps so students can actually understand how systems connect rather than memorize isolated facts. I emphasize active recall, diagram-based learning, and repeated application through practice questions similar to what students see in university exams.
A typical lesson begins with a quick diagnostic review of the topic or problem areas, followed by a clear explanation of the core concept (for example: enzyme kinetics, metabolism pathways, or molecular interactions). We then move into guided problem-solving and exam-style questions to reinforce understanding. Each session ends with targeted summary notes and practice questions to ensure retention and confidence.
What sets me apart is my combination of academic excellence and teaching experience. As a former Chemistry TA, I understand where students typically struggle and how instructors design exams. My 4.0 GPA background reflects not just hard work, but a strong system for mastering complex material efficiently.
These lessons are designed for undergraduate students in Biochemistry, Biology, Life Sciences, or related programs who want to improve grades, prepare for midterms and finals, or strengthen foundational understanding for advanced courses.

Dania was an excellent online tutor and really helped me understand the lessons better. She explained everything clearly and in great detail, was patient with me, and made learning easier and much more fun. I learned a lot from her and would definitely recommend her to other students.
She was a great tutor! She explained everything clearly, was patient, and helped me understand the material much better. I learned a lot and would definitely recommend her.
I couldn’t recommend anyone more than Dania! She’s been such a great tutor, and I learned a great deal from her about bio and biochem! Her teaching style is easy and supportive. She’ll make sure you understand everything along the way and doesn’t rush at all.
I had the pleasure of knowing Dania as my TA during my first year of university, and she was genuinely one of the most supportive and approachable instructors I’ve had. She explains complex concepts in a way that feels simple and manageable, and she always takes the time to make sure students truly understand rather than just memorize. What I appreciate most about her teaching style is how patient and encouraging she is, whether during tutorials or when I reached out for extra help, she was always willing to guide me step-by-step and offer practical study advice. Even outside of class, she has helped me with course decisions and provided valuable insight into academic paths, which made a big difference for me. Dania creates a comfortable learning environment where you don’t feel intimidated to ask questions, and that’s something that really sets her apart. I would highly recommend her to anyone looking for a knowledgeable, kind, and dedicated tutor.
Dania was in many of my undergraduate chemistry classes at the University of Toronto. When I would have questions about a concept, she would break it down for me in a way that was easy to understand. I highly recommend her!
I know Dania because she was my TA for one of my chemistry classes. I really loved how open she was to feedback (even though we didn’t have any most times, because she was just that great). She explained hard topics really well. Also, during labs, she was incredibly helpful and fun. She gave me advice and tips on a lot of things. I’m really glad I got to know her!!
