About Nyan
I started playing guitar at the age of 2 and had my first experiences playing on stage at 5. Before I was finished with high school I had toured and headlined shows all around the world with my father and had created three studio albums with bands of my own. I’m a multi-instrumentalist who specializes in finding my sound within any genre that interests me.
I went on to study jazz performance in college and recorded and performed with musical legends. Right after college I hopped on the road and moved out to Nashville, TN where I was a full time touring music director, band leader, and tour manager. In addition to that, I was actively recording and writing my own music and music for others as well. Six years later, I find myself living in Los Angeles, CA making more music and playing more shows with friends and inspiring cohorts alike!

My lessons style is unique to each student. I asses your strengths (even if you’re a day 1 beginner) and help you grow into the player you’re meant to be in the most natural way that comes to you. Some students want to know the basics so they can have an understanding of how music works, and some students just need some coaching to get them to the level of being able to play specific songs or styles. I believe that it’s all important.
Music is a magical, fulfilling language and learning to speak it is a gift that everyone should be given the opportunity to receive!
