About Mr Nascimento

My journey into English literacy began at the age of 4, through daycare and home activities such as watching cartoons, singing songs, and listening to stories in English.

Fueled by an endless curiosity, by age 8, I was chatting daily with Americans—in person at events and online via forums, games, and chats—peppering them with questions about science, technology, and pop culture. For fun, I even invented fictional alphabets and languages, immersed myself in classic literature, and jumped into debates about it all.

This early dive gave me a profound grasp of the culture—I soaked up ways of thinking, humor, cultural references, slang, etiquette, politics, folklore, geography, and accents. Thanks to this two-pronged approach—organic experiences from childhood combined with early academic exploration—I've become a "near-native" speaker. I don't just teach grammar or vocabulary; I show students how to think, feel, and respond like a native, with the effortless flow, perfect timing, and genuine vibe that no certificate can provide.

At 12, I channeled that passion into serious study, diving deep into linguistics and sociobiology to explore how language shapes culture and vice versa. I tackled some of the most intriguing and complex questions in the field, like:

"Where do sounds come from, and why do humans speak?"

"When did we start speaking, and why did we invent writing systems?"

"Do alphabets evolve from logograms? And do logograms stem from pictograms?"

"Are alphabets basically streamlined logograms, borrowing features and tying them to specific sounds?"

"What was the shift like from archaic to modern humans during the cognitive revolution?"

"Are letters connected to hunting and farming? And, of course, how did agriculture transform our species?"

"Why do logograms still hang around even with alphabets in play?"

Hello, it's great to have you here!

◇ I'm Mr. Nascimento, and I'll be your teacher and mentor. Right after our first few lessons, we'll switch to a free virtual study platform. From there, you'll get access to an exclusive room packed with lessons, quizzes, exercises, videos, practice simulations, PDFs, and tons of other materials—all completely free.

Additionally, please feel free to message me anytime (I regularly stay in touch with my students through messaging apps). You'll also get our virtual study guide: a 112-page grammar roadmap called the Grammar Plan.

◇ My lessons mimic real-life interactions you'd have with family, friends, at work, or in school—just like what you'd experience growing up in an English-speaking country or on an exchange program. Plus, they're multidisciplinary, so we can dive into any topic you like. I incorporate dictation to build strong literacy skills and always have students jot down the material in their notebooks in cursive after class. I'll tailor exercises to your job or field, including role-playing conversations where we act out realistic scenarios as different characters.

◇ I teach everything from basic literacy to advanced conversation, customized to your needs. Students learn phonemes, the alphabet, and how to read phonetic transcriptions with the IPA (International Phonetic Alphabet). They practice describing photos, people, and experiences; writing with real-time corrections; and reading their own stories aloud. Bring your own interests to class, and I'll expand on them with cultural and scientific insights.

They'll master using phrases not only with perfect grammar but also in ways that fit the context, show proper politeness, and sound totally natural.

◇ We cover all the core skills: reading, listening, writing, and grammar. I take a holistic approach to English, weaving in American history, TV shows, folklore, etymology, sociobiology, linguistics, and more—while always building on what you already know.

◇ Like learning as a kid, we'll start with the fundamentals (sounds and structures) and build up to full fluency. I encourage you to immerse yourself in English daily: jot notes in a notebook, switch your devices to English, and chat with native speakers or fellow learners. Together, we'll treat English as both a communication tool and a window into the cultures that shaped it. We'll break down the analytical mindset behind the language and train ourselves to see the world through an English lens, getting you closer to thinking like a native speaker.

◇ IMPORTANT: Right now, I'm not offering prep for exams, contests, or proficiency tests like Cambridge, IELTS, or TOEFL. I stick to my own materials only. So, I can't handle super-specific requests that involve your external stuff, like reviewing work or school documents, doing translations, or one-off lessons for things like presentations or interviews.

In short, my program is designed for long-term learners, using everything in my toolkit—for beginners, intermediates, or advanced students—to boost your English skills and expand your knowledge across all these areas below.

◇ In our lessons, we can explore topics like:

Ⅰ - Natural Sciences
Ⅱ - Information Technology

O inglês faz parte do meu quotidiano desde sempre! Passei a minha infância e adolescência a ouvir muitos artistas internacionais.

O inglês é a língua franca mundial.

    *Husband - /ˈhʌz.bənd/Hús - ''House'' ''casa''

Eu acredito no meu exercer profissional!
