Literacy & Phonics tutor for EYFS and KS1 with Speech & Language support.

I engaged Michelle last year to teach my then 5-year-old grandson who was lagging behind in his school. Ever since Michelle started to teach him, he has improved a lot with phonics and can read and write. I am happy with her hilarious method of teaching kids, which prompts my grandson to understand and adapt to things easily. I am happy to recommend her to anyone looking for a good teacher.

Michelle has been teaching my six-year-old nephew for the past year, and the progress he’s made has been excellent. She supports him with phonics, reading, writing, and maths, and has a great way of making everything feel fun and engaging rather than like a chore.

Michelle tutored my 9 year old son, who has special needs, during June and July and made such a positive difference. She helped him regain confidence and actually enjoy learning again. Her creative approach — like teaching about squirrels, then taking him to see them in the park and turning it into writing and art — really engaged him. Michelle tutored our 5 year old son in reading / writing / concentration skills for 6 months. The results were very impressive as he made great progress in all these areas starting from a very low baseline. Michelle is an amazing tutor for little kids. She is quite experienced capturing the attention of a 3 years old and coming up with activities that promotes his learning. While her primary focus was to teach reading for our son, not only she was successful with it, she took her time and every opportunity to work on his other skills such as memory, speaking and even motor skills. Our son really got engaged and enjoyed her time with her. Despite his age (3) he can read short words quite well and has a good basis for reading now
