About Sakina
Hello! I’m Sakina, a postgraduate law student currently completing my LLM. I’ve spent the past few years writing essays in politics and law, so I understand how confusing it can feel when you’re trying to figure out what actually gets good grades.
I want to teach because I know how frustrating it is when things don’t click straight away. I had a law tutor myself during A-levels, and that experience showed me how important it is to have the right kind of support. Essay-based subjects can feel overwhelming, and I want to provide the kind of help I wish I had at the time.
I focus on breaking things down clearly, helping you structure your work properly, and making sure you genuinely understand what you’re doing.
I’m patient, supportive, and I won’t overcomplicate things. We’ll work through it together!

My approach is simple – I focus on helping things actually make sense!
A lot of students struggle with essays because they’re not sure what’s expected of them. I break things down clearly, whether that’s structure, argument, or just understanding the question properly. I’ll go through examples with you, explain why something works (or doesn’t), and help you apply it to your own work.
Lessons are usually around 1 hour, but I can adjust depending on what you need.
I’m currently completing my LLM, and I’ve spent the past few years writing and analysing essays in both law and politics. I understand what strong academic writing looks like and how to improve it.
My lessons are for GCSE, A-level, and university students who want to improve their writing, structure, and overall confidence with essays.
Sessions are relaxed and supportive :)
