About Karo
Here I tell you a little about my work as a teacher and musician I started teaching by giving guitar classes and later, in 2015, I started a singing workshop and it was in the latter where a particular methodology began to take shape organically, since in the process of sharing how to develop our voice and what each student has contributed to me, knowledge was interwoven that came from my studies in psychology, my experience in Gestalt, my path in sensory theater, my experience in dance and movement workshops and of course, the axis of everything, vocal technique and my experience as a musician.
Our voice is a tool that empowers us and gives us self-knowledge while this recognition helps us find our true voice and its potential to express and create.
As a musician, I have participated in different musical groups performing various genres, I have also been part of multidisciplinary projects, I am currently focused on music of my own authorship. I have also composed and performed music for short films and plays. I have performed in different theaters and venues in Mexico and recently I started my musical adventure in Canada. My music has been heard on public radio and on the internet. I am a composer and arranger in my project: "Karo Nacho", you can listen to my album "Lumbral" on your favorite platform. I deeply believe in the power of art to transform us.

Lose your fear of singing! Find your own voice and sing those melodies you've always wanted to express. The sessions I share are an integration of techniques and tools from singing, theater, and other disciplines that I consider valuable and meaningful for those entering the world of voice and for those who want to develop a healthy technique.
✓ Currently, my classes are online and individualized, completely personalized according to your voice's current state.
✓ It doesn't matter if you're starting from scratch, just singing in the shower, or already have experience; my specialty is helping each student learn to unleash their potential.
✓ We work from an awareness of the body as our instrument and deep attention, encompassing movement, sensitivity (active listening), and expressiveness, all of course from a complete and healthy vocal technique. The free expression of the voice without seeking its beauty, the exploration of the "unknown" and letting oneself fall into "mistake" are some of the strategies to find our own sound, empowered and free.
✓ Everything explored applies to vocalizations that seek to expand the vocal range and promote effective listening.
✓ From the beginning, we will choose a song to apply what we have learned and thus develop the necessary skills.
✓ We will always work on a goal based on each situation, for example, improving intonation, freeing the voice, gaining high notes, improving expressiveness, etc. The idea is to motivate us to achieve these goals within a specific timeframe, achieving greater commitment to the process.
✓ I will always leave small tasks that must be practiced consistently to see results. It's not about studying for hours (in fact, it's minutes a day); it's about studying correctly.
✓ The duration of each session is 50 minutes to an hour. The schedule is agreed upon by both parties, whether it's once or twice a week.
Our voice is a tool that empowers us and gives us self-knowledge, while this recognition helps us find our true voice and its potential to express and create. It works both ways.

Perfect! Karo is my very first vocal coach and so far my experience with her has been amazing! She’s very knowledgeable about singing techniques and she’s also able to explain those techniques in a beginner friendly way. I’m looking forward to getting to know my voice better with her :)

I’m so glad I found my voice teacher, Karo, on Superprof! I’ve wanted to learn how to sing properly for many years but felt intimidated to get started. Karo made learning how to sing easy to understand, even with no music background. She is always very patient and encouraging, fostering a safe space to be vulnerable and learn a new skill. A couple of months ago, I was coping with the loss of a beloved pet and would suddenly burst into tears during my voice lessons.
