Thodoris is an incredibly competent tutor/educator as well as a phenomenal player. His many years of professional experience and his dedication to guitar playing and teaching, have equipped him with more than enough tools to be able to teach anyone, regardless of their level on the instrument. He retains a great balance between maintaining a very well thought-out methodical approach and leaving enough space for the student to be explore on themselves. Having taught hundreds of students through the years and having (by extent) gathered a lot of experience, he is able to easily tailor his teaching approach to each student's specific needs. A very active musician himself, he draws form his personal real-life music related experiences, adding a whole other dimension to his lessons, an absolutely essential part of his teaching and a very beneficial one for the student. Personally I feel lucky to have studied with him. I have learned an enormous amount from him, about jazz music and guitar playing in general.

Thodoris is a great tutor. His perspective about guitar is really unique. Through a series of entertaining exercices and not only, I unlocked some other aspects of the guitar. I think that the goal behind every knowledge he passes to the student, is to make them have fun with music. Also, the lessons include a mental perspective about music, which is such a useful part of the lesson and the whole process.

As a person hoping to pursue a career as a musician, Thodoris was the best option for a guitar tutor! He introduced me to fundamentals (and beyond of jazz), he advised me on how to improve my sound,my time feel, my jazz vocabulary, my knowledge on the instrument (fretboard) and so on ! I have had a lot of tutors for different activities in my life and I can, easily, say that Thodoris is, by far, the best! I met him through a close friend, who is a musician as well, and, since I have been meaning to take guitar lessons for a long time, I gave it a go. I met Thodoris at one of his concerts in Athens. Apart from being extremely skillful, Thodoris is an excellent teacher! He is very patient, explains everything thoroughly and takes the lesson at your pace, building your learning plan around your specific needs!
