About Diego
I have a passion for Psychology and Education, as well as traveling the world, which has given me the opportunity to make a diverse set of friends abroad, and help them improve their basic English skills to a conversationally fluent level. I performed among the top of my class in spelling, English, and math up until about 7th grade, which I can confidently and patiently teach to students in the same age range. I am from Central Florida and enjoy outdoor activities like hiking, swimming, and boating, and surfing. I have a rather rotund cat that I plan to use any revenue from my lessons to purchase an exercise wheel for.

I’m a fourth-year psychology student offering affordable, supportive tutoring for English as a Second Language, elementary–middle school math, spelling, and reading, with a focus on building confidence and real understanding—not pressure. I bring both academic training and personal experience: I struggled with ADHD and motivation in my early school years, and everything changed when tutors taught me simple, practical organization and study methods that finally made learning feel manageable. Those tools helped me apply myself at a much higher level, and now I’m passionate about helping students who feel stuck, overwhelmed, or discouraged do the same. My approach is patient, clear, and tailored to each student’s learning style, with the goal of making school feel achievable and empowering—at a lower-than-average price so quality support is accessible to more families.
