About Ali
My name is Ali Humzah and I am currently studying Economics at the London School of Economics after achieving A* in Mathematics, A* in Further Mathematics, A in Economics, and A in Physics at A-Level. I enjoy helping students build confidence in Maths by simplifying complex ideas and ensure they understand them rather than just memorise them. Having recently gone through GCSE and A-Level exams myself, I understand the challenges students face and can provide clear, relatable support. My aim is to help students not only improve their grades but also develop a long-term enjoyment and understanding for Maths.

My tutoring approach is flexible and tailored to each student’s needs. I begin by identifying the areas where the student feels less confident or would like to improve, and then adapt lessons to focus on those topics. While following the specification closely, I incorporate regular exam-style questions throughout the teaching process to check understanding and build exam technique. This method ensures that students not only grasp the concepts but are also able to apply their knowledge effectively when answering questions under exam conditions. My goal is to create a supportive learning environment where students feel confident, motivated, and prepared to achieve strong results.
