About James
I love to teach and love to help students to understand the best subjects in the world - Economics and Politics. With my previous experience working in Westminster and my academic Master's in Political Science and Political Economy from the LSE, as well as being a qualified teacher and examiner, I am very well equipped to help a broad range of students - from those yet to take their first lesson, to those looking to apply to Oxbridge colleges. I love to read, play music and spend time with my family.

Experienced Politics and Economics teacher with a strong academic background and a passion for helping students excel. With over seven years of A-level teaching in both top academic independent and state schools, I offer expert tutoring tailored to all abilities, from foundational understanding to Oxbridge preparation. Whether you need support with exam technique, essay writing, or university applications, I provide engaging, results-focused lessons to help students reach their full potential. I always start with what students already know and the real-world application to give students a strong grounding in a topic before moving into the more complex theory. Usually over the course of an hour, for students aged between 16 and 18 (A-level), I tailor each session to suit each student's ability and level of understanding.
