About Rasik
I am a student who graduated in May of 2025, after writing my IB Biology HL, Chemistry HL, English Lit. HL and Psychology SL exams. In May of 2024 I wrote my IB Math and French exams, scoring 7/7 on both (97+ Ontario percentage equivalent). I am now studying Biomedical Engineering in university, as it allows me to continue learning math and all 3 sciences. I'm very passionate about learning and I believe that it is a lifelong experience and not just something we do to get a job. As such, I emphasize thinking and coming to your own conclusions as opposed to memorizing facts without asking the 'why'.

Don't be afraid of the fact that I'm a very recent highschool student; I've been tutoring for years. I have extensive experience in teaching math especially, and I currently work as an in-person math instructor for all grades. With the IB curriculum, I've provided help with understanding how to answer exam-style questions, taught content, and given feedback on and even marked EEs and IAs.
Why me? I'm someone who was recently in your position: I know that you don't have all the time in the world, and I know the little tricks associated with each subject. I can explain how you can achieve 90% of your desired results with only 20% of the effort you think you need by teaching you how to think, not memorize. As a student, I know what kids find confusing; it's often times very different from what teachers and PhD's THINK kids find confusing. Also, I can explain concepts in a simple way, from friend-to-friend, focusing on what I know you'll be tested on instead of forcing you to memorize every detail from an old textbook.
