About Salaar
Asalam o Alaikum! I am a certified Quran educator and Sanad holder born in the blessed city of Madinah. My journey with the Quran began early, culminating in the completion of my Hifz under the esteemed scholars of Masjid al-Haram. This rigorous, traditional training instilled in me not just flawless Tajweed and Makharij, but a profound, lifelong love for the Book of Allah.
Why I Teach
I teach because I recognised a significant gap: Western Muslim parents often struggle to find traditional, highly qualified Quran teachers who can also communicate fluently and effectively in English. My mission is to bridge that gap. I want to pass on the authentic "Madinah Legacy" to the next generation, ensuring that children growing up in the UK and the West can connect with the Quran confidently, without any language or cultural barriers.
My Approach as a Teacher
I believe that learning the Quran should never feel like a chore or a source of anxiety for a child; it should be an engaging, spiritually uplifting experience. As a tutor, I am known for my patience, professionalism, and encouraging demeanour. I do not believe in rushing; I believe in mastery.
I treat every student's Islamic education with the highest level of care, and nothing brings me more joy than seeing a student's face light up when they finally master a difficult Tajweed rule or complete a new Surah. I look forward to welcoming your family into my academy!
