About Christina
Christina initially studied classical piano with an acclaimed concert pianist, and in high school became a keyboardist and vocalist for one of the United States’ largest megachurches. She began to teach piano lessons while in high school.
She later went on to pursue a music career in New York City, where she founded an indie rock band with a cult following. As frontwoman and keyboardist for the band, she produced four albums that were praised by magazines like Spin, Magnet, and Billboard. The band toured extensively and appeared on stages with notable artists such Sharon Jones and the Dap Kings, Kate Nash, Nick Waterhouse, and Lucius.
Christina also has over ten years of classical vocal training from an acclaimed opera singer, and she can help vocal students combine healthy singing with contemporary singing styles.

Christina teaches piano, voice, songwriting, and production. She loves finding out what gets her students excited about music and working with their strengths!
Her students learn not only to play or sing songs, they also learn about the music theory behind the songs, so they can be empowered to exercise their own creativity. As an experienced performer and artist, Christina also teaches students about songwriting, live performance, home recording, music and video production, forming a band, and the music industry.
