About Lucía
I am a social researcher from the University of Seville and the University of Arizona (United States), as well as a yoga instructor. I have worked between Spain, the United States and Mexico. I have taught Spanish for 3 years, at the Department of Languages at the University of Arizona, instructing a total of 200 students. They maintained an accumulative pass rate of 98%., of whom 40% received a mark of 90% or higher. Currently working in Seville.

00:00-00:15: Review of previous class; questions and intro to the topic of the day.
00:15-00:20: Vocabulary of topic of the day.
00:20-00:35: Video/audio with questions OR role play-debate.
00:35-00:55: Grammar: explanations and exercises/games.
00:55-01:00: Closure and next's class organization.
** Happy to extend the length of the classes upon agreement with the student.
Further details on methodology:
I adapt the teaching method to the student's needs. I maintain a balance between the oral, listening, reading and writing parts, but I always prioritize acquiring oral expression. My classes are 100% spoken in Spanish, except in inescapable situations. I adapt the class topics and pedagogy to the student's profile to maximize his/her interest in the subject. I am a committed and patient teacher. My goal is to make difficult things easy.
