About Dr Tonya

I am easy and light-hearted with a passion to help others learn by breaking complex problems into small edible pieces all the while making it fun. Students will grow in self-esteem and confidence. I have my doc in behavioral sciences so I understand what holds students back in learning. I am familiar with neuroscience (how your brain functions) and can assist you in learning on a wide variety of topics and in every area of your life.

About the lesson

I love people and work well with everyone. I enjoy making learning fun and know how to simplify complex problems for easier understanding. I have been tutoring/teaching since I was in High School. I specialize in math and psychology. Thank you!

Perfect! It’s tempting to keep Dr. Tonya’s exceptional skills to ourselves, but her talent deserves to be recognized by the many students who could benefit from her support. Though we engage her mainly for math, her influence reaches far beyond the subject. She has an extraordinary ability to connect with my granddaughter, explain concepts in a way she truly understands, and foster genuine confidence and self‑esteem. After working with several tutors over the years, Dr. Tonya stands out as one of the finest. If you are looking for a tutor who is both highly skilled and deeply committed to student success, we wholeheartedly recommend her.
