About Sunil
Hi! I'm a Malaysia-based writer and illustrator with an IELTS score of 8 (CEFR C1) and a strong foundation in English communication. I've worked as a professional copywriter and freelance creative since 2021, and I hold a degree in Film & Cinema Studies from Monash University. My background is all about clear, engaging communication: I've written copy for international festival events, developed narrative and visual storytelling projects, and I'm known for being fast, reliable, and easy to work with under deadline. I bring that same energy to tutoring; I love using storytelling and creative exercises (not just drills) to make lessons stick, especially for students who respond better to visual or narrative learning. Whether you're prepping for exams or just want to build confidence speaking and writing, I'll tailor lessons to how you learn best.

60 minute lesson sessions where we cover your current level of English proficiency, establishing where you want your skill to be and strategizing how to get there. While I do not have a teaching certificate, English is my first language since primary level.
These lessons are designed for a broad range of Malaysians (both age and levels) to assist in their casual usage of English whilst in Malaysia.
This will include;
-Exercises in pronunciation and word usage for improving speech
-Practicing writing in English to improve your sense of comprehension and handwriting to ensure its readability
-Personal journaling and creative writing to help correct smaller English mistakes.
-Roleplay conversations to help generate an ease of speaking in English regardless of setting or situation
