About Kristy
I have been in the Telecommunications field for 25+ years. I have been fortunate enough to gain experience in a variety of positions such as: Instructing, Quality Assurance, Supervisor, Career Development, Recruiting-Interviewing, Hiring and Employee Retention and doing anything creative in my free time - embroidering, crocheting, painting, sewing, etc. I have a BA from Indiana Wesleyan and a MBA from Indiana Tech.

My teaching method depends on the material I am teaching and the learners. I assess the learners to see if they absorb information by listening, watching, hands on or visual. Age is also a factor. Once I determine those factors it is much easier to make a learning agenda. It is important to have lesson plans and follow them as closely as possible. I add little bit of extra time during the class in case there are questions, other relevant comments or any variety of things that might arise. Most people cannot keep attention for long periods of time so it is important to watch the learners reactions and redirect them. It is also important to make sure there is an understanding and if there is not, then I try different methods to teach.
