I have had multiple different jobs over the past 5 years, but alongside each and every one, I have always kept my position as a tutor. It has been by far the most fulfilling and rewarding experience. Having been a tutor for over 4 years, I am accustomed to many different teaching and learning styles that I adapt to suit each individual student. I like to keep my sessions fun and relaxed whilst also being highly informative and introducing effective ways of working and approaching questions! At my current job, I tutor 8 different students a week, and I ensure that each child has their own unique experience! Each session is 1 hour long, but I may introduce short, 5-minute breaks for any students that I feel are losing interest or becoming distracted, usually my younger students, aged 4-6. For each session, I keep track of their progress, any topics they may struggle with, give detailed feedback to parents, and keep a unique rapport with each and every one of my students!
