About Vanessa
Nǐ hǎo! Hello! My name is Vanessa. I was born and raised in China, where I spent over 30 years before moving to Brisbane in 2024. As a native Mandarin speaker fluent in both Mandarin and English, I have a deep passion for teaching Chinese. I hold a Mandarin Proficiency Test certificate and have extensive experience teaching both children and adults, from absolute beginners to intermediate learners. I specialize in beginner-level lessons, especially for students with no prior experience, and I always strive to make my classes fun, supportive, and engaging.
