He is an excellent teacher who is trustworthy, has infinite patience and who always looks at matters in a positive and encouraging manner. Nic is an excellent tutor, very knowledgeable, patient & friendly and I would highly recommend him to anyone. I could not have found a better tutor as although he is very professional musician in his own right ( Shackleton Trio . Clarke & Zuppardi, Cobbler Bob String Band ) and one of the busiest musicians on the scene at present, he is also a really excellent and professional teacher and goes way beyond the pale by being very friendly, down to earth, and encouraging and supportive of his students in not only teaching technique but by introducing students to different ideas and styles of playing, as well as other music, musicians and bands they may never have come across.
Apart from learning a great deal from him, he has instilled in me much more confidenceI and I very much enjoy his lessons and look forwards to them, and would consider him a good friend.
