About Lyla
I am an East Asian teen girl that LOVES school, family, math, learning and watching Netflix. I am an experienced tutor that has taught and tutored math & human health every other week in my district library for 4 years and recently decided to tutor online because it’s easier :D I love helping people, studying and taking exams. This lesson is offered for ANY age that wants to learn, get ahead, or catch up on Algebra 1&2 or Geometry! Students will learn depending on what they want to learn and what their own goal is, personalized learning is the key here. We will do fun activities and make the lesson exciting while also actually learning :D Since I am a teen myself, I feel like children teaching other children would be more useful than a grown adult teaching them. My reasoning is because kids and teens' mindset towards learning are fairly similar, our attitude toward some subjects are also similar. Children can understand each other better and make connections better whether it’s learning or not, that’s why I feel like children teaching children could have a better effect than adults. I will sometimes give out homework. Lesson materials and things we did will be sent to students and parents on email. Non-accredited Let me know the times when you’re available. If you additional lesson time, let me know, I’ll be glad to add on lesson time:)

I have known Lyla since we were 4, she is a very smart one I gotta say. Lyla is always in a good mood and understanding, she is funny but gets all the work done without any distractions. I was competing 4th grade with her in kinder garden and she won by getting almost every question correct, I was impressed!
Lyla is a very patient, hardworking and passionate tutor. She started tutoring when she was only 12, she has a unique way of teaching so students can master what they want to learn. Lyla loves making jokes while focusing on what she is tutoring.
