About Jacob Spencer
Hi there! My name is Jacob, and I am a passionate tutor with a wide range of interests. When I'm not teaching, you can usually find me in my garden tending to my plants or preparing for my next historical reenactment event.
I've always had a love of learning, and I believe that enthusiasm is contagious. As a tutor, I strive to make every session engaging and inspiring for my students. I enjoy exploring new topics and finding creative ways to help my students understand complex concepts.
My interest in historical reenacting has also informed my teaching style. I believe that experiencing history firsthand can be a powerful way to engage students and make learning come alive. I often incorporate historical anecdotes and references into my lessons, which I find helps to make even the driest topics more interesting.
In addition to my passion for teaching, I also have a deep appreciation for the natural world. Gardening has taught me patience, attention to detail, and the rewards of hard work. These are all skills that I try to impart to my students in our sessions.

As a tutor, I strive to create a comfortable and supportive learning environment that allows my students to thrive. My typical lesson plan involves a brief review of the student's current understanding of the subject, followed by targeted exercises that address areas of weakness. I also incorporate interactive activities to engage the student and reinforce their knowledge.
What sets me apart as a tutor is my ability to adapt my teaching method to each student's unique learning style. I believe that every student has their own strengths and weaknesses, and I tailor my approach accordingly. Additionally, I make myself available to my students outside of our scheduled sessions for any questions or concerns they may have.
My tutoring services are available to students of all levels, from primary school to university. I specialize in American History, World History, and Political science
