About Nia
I am a dedicated tutor with 7 years of experience specializing in teaching Chess to students ranging from school level to college. Collaboration is at the heart of my lessons—I work side by side with students to analyze games, practice tactics, and prepare for tournaments. In addition to Chess, I also teach other strategy games such as Backgammon, Risk, Checkers, and Settlers of Catan. These games build logical thinking, planning, and decision-making skills, which complement chess learning. My goal is to create a supportive and challenging environment where every student can grow into a confident and skilled player.
