Hello! I am a professional fine artist and art educator dedicated to helping students of all ages unlock their creative potential.
My Background & Qualifications
I am a proud graduate of the prestigious Government College of Fine Arts, Chennai. My formal training gave me a deep, technical understanding of classical and contemporary art practices.
My Teaching Experience
With over 4+ years of hands-on teaching experience, I have worked extensively with both children and adults in traditional offline studio settings.

My Teaching Methodology: From Basic Shapes to Complete Compositions
Every student has a unique artistic voice. My classes are structured to meet you or your child exactly where you are, breaking down complex art concepts into fun, digestible steps.
Here is exactly how our journey together looks:
Step 1: The Creative Assessment
We begin by discovering your current potential. In our first session, I’ll ask the student to draw something they already enjoy. This helps me understand their current skill level, hand-eye coordination, and visual style so I can tailor the lessons perfectly to them.
Step 2: Mastering the 8 Fundamentals of Art
Before diving into complex pieces, we build a rock-solid foundation. I teach the 8 core fundamentals of art in simple, easy-to-understand terms:
Point, Line, Shape, and Form (The building blocks of any drawing)
Value, Color, Texture, and Space (The magic that brings a drawing to life)
Step 3: The "Dissection" Method (Learning to See)
We practice breaking real-world objects down into simple geometric shapes. For example, we might look at a flower and realize its core is just a simple circle. We will practice drawing basic diagrams with one clear goal: identifying core shapes and line flow.
Step 4: Step-by-Step Progression
Once the basics feel natural, we gradually increase the challenge to build confidence without overwhelm:
Simple Objects: Mastering single items (like flowers or everyday objects).
Overlapping & Depth: Moving to slightly more complex scenes (like two overlapping flowers).
Stylization: Bringing fun cartoons and characters to life using our shape formulas.
Full Composition: Combining everything to create a complete, well-balanced artwork that tells a story.
