My Approach as an English Teacher As a teacher, I believe that learning a language should be both practical and enjoyable. I tailor each lesson to the individual needs and goals of my students, ensuring that they stay motivated and see steady progress. My teaching is based on interactive, student-centered methods that build confidence in speaking, listening, reading, and writing. Teaching Techniques and Methods I use a blend of communicative and task-based approaches. That means lessons are focused on real-life communication—through conversation practice, role-plays, games, and problem-solving tasks. I also integrate grammar and vocabulary naturally within context rather than through memorization. For beginners, I provide clear, structured support, and for advanced learners, I focus more on fluency, nuance, and accuracy. Structure of a Typical Class A standard class includes: 1. Warm-up(5–10 mins): A quick activity to activate prior knowledge or introduce the day’s theme. 2. Main Lesson Focus (30–40 mins): Targeted practice based on student goals—speaking, listening, grammar, or writing. 3. Interactive Activities (15–20 mins): Games, dialogues, discussions, or real-world tasks. 4. Wrap-Up and Feedback (5–10 mins): A review of key points, corrections, and suggestions for improvement. I often give light, optional homework for extra practice. What Makes Me a Unique Teacher I’m patient, encouraging, and adaptable to each student’s pace and personality. I use real-world materials (articles, videos, podcasts) to keep lessons engaging and relevant. I focus on confidence-building, especially for shy or hesitant learners. I offer cultural insights along with language learning, which is especially helpful for travelers or professionals. Who the Classes Are For My classes are suitable for: School children who need help with English basics or schoolwork. College students aiming to improve academic English, writing, or prepare for exams like IELTS or TOEFL. Adults looking to improve spoken English for work, travel, or personal development. Professionals seeking business English and workplace communication skills.
