About Kousai

Born in Canada, raised in France, and now living in Montreal, I’m a bilingual French tutor with over 3 years of experience helping students gain confidence and mastery in French. Having experienced both French and Canadian cultures firsthand, I bring a unique perspective to teaching, making lessons relatable, practical, and engaging.

I work with students of all levels—whether for school, exam prep (TEFAQ, TCF, DELF), or personal enrichment—breaking down complex grammar and vocabulary into clear, memorable steps. Patient, organized, and supportive, I create a judgment-free space where learning is enjoyable, progress is visible, and students leave each lesson motivated to succeed.

About the lesson

I make French simple, practical, and even fun. Each lesson is tailored to your level and goals. Whether it’s for school, exams, or just learning for fun. I break down tricky concepts into clear, memorable steps and combine explanations with interactive exercises, reading, and real-life examples.

Lessons start with a quick review, introduce new material, and end with a recap and personalized practice tips. I create a supportive, judgment-free space where questions are encouraged and progress is real.

Perfect for students of all ages who want confidence, results, and a love for French.

I worked with Kousai in Grade 11 and he had a huge impact on my grades.

When I started, my average was around 65, and with his help, I improved to an 85.
His support not only improved my grades but also boosted my confidence in math. Kousai is the perfect tutor for people looking to strengthen their understanding and see real results.

My son Leo was in Grade 10 when he worked with Kousai. He helped him improve his grammar, expand his vocabulary, and feel more comfortable speaking in class. As a result, Leo’s performance in French noticeably improved.
I would highly recommend Kousai to any student who needs effective support in French.
