About Lauren
My name is Lauren Clamp and I am a recent graduate of Valdosta State University. My most recent degree is a Master's in Library and Information Science. I also hold a Bachelor's in History from the University of North Georgia. I have worked as a tutor for a number of subjects, such as astronomy, history, art, and English. I am an avid reader, artist, and writer and look forward to helping students of any age with whatever goals they are seeking!

Whether you are simply learning to read more efficiently or working on advanced assignments, I can assist you in achieving your goals. I propose small goal learning where we will set weekly or even daily goals for you to meet. That could be a new vocabulary word, a daily reading goal, or a word count for an essay. By meeting small goals, students can feel accomplished each day they work on their goals, instead of waiting for larger accomplishments that will come later with hard work (of course we will meet these, too, in time :) My prerogative as a tutor is not to force students to advance prematurely but to supplement their knowledge and allow them to advance at their own rate.
