About Paul
With more than 15 years of experience, I specialize in teaching Guitar to college students who want clear and enjoyable lessons. I believe learning guitar should be stress-free and motivating.
My teaching style is calm, patient, and organized. I break down complex guitar techniques into simple steps so students can understand and apply them easily. I focus on building strong foundations before moving to advanced skills.
I use innovative methods such as learning through popular songs, guided practice plans, and focused technique drills. Students improve chord transitions, rhythm control, and finger strength through structured exercises. I also use play-along tracks to improve timing.
Music theory is explained in an easy and practical way. I also include ear training and improvisation to help students develop musical awareness and confidence.
I believe encouragement and consistency are key to success. My goal is to help college students enjoy guitar learning and grow into independent musicians.

I teach Guitar with creativity, mentorship, critical thinking, and accountability at the core. I want students to enjoy music while developing both technical skills and personal expression. Lessons include improvisation, composing original pieces, and exploring different musical styles.
Critical thinking is a vital part of my approach. I teach students to analyze songs, understand chord progressions, and develop problem-solving skills to overcome musical challenges independently.
I emphasize accountability by helping students set achievable goals, practice consistently, and track progress. Constructive feedback and encouragement create confidence and motivation.
In addition to Guitar, I teach music theory, songwriting, ear training, and performance techniques. Lessons are tailored to the student’s pace, level, and interests, ensuring an engaging and effective learning experience.
My goal is to mentor students into confident, creative, and independent musicians who enjoy making and performing music.
