About Iliana
With 25 years of violin experience, I have a Bachelors Degree from the University of Brasilia (Brazil) and a Masters Degree from California State University (Long Beach) studying under Henry Gronnier (award winning violinist). I'm a third generation musician in my family, both my parents being Doctors of Music and University Professors for classical music performance (my mother is an incredible violinist herself.)
I've toured as soloist in Brazil, won orchestra auditions and have played for and studied with world renowned violinists such as Midori Goto (top 5 world renowned Professor and soloist), Pavel Zlatarov (Sofia Philharmonic Concertmaster), Stoika Milanova (David Oistrakh disciple), Moni Simeonov, among others.
I am part of the 30 under 30 on Forbes Bulgaria and I am a RIAA Certified Gold songwriter, having written the number one song in 13 countries.

You can play the violin and sound good in no time! Your lessons will be personalized, detail oriented and fun! My experience in teaching violin has proved that my students play in tune and produce a good sound in just a couple months. Most importantly, they enjoy the art of practice and performance. I will teach you how to read music, the elements of musicality, how to problem solve technical problems in violin playing, as well as ensemble performance. I will give you the necessary tools that will ensure your ability to fix musical problems on your own as you progress, no matter your level.
