About Ivy
With 7 years of tutoring experience, I specialize in teaching Piano to high school and college students, having successfully guided 200-300 learners. My teaching approach emphasizes clear communication, integrity, diplomacy, and collaboration. Each lesson is personalized to address individual needs, focusing on technique, theory, and performance. I blend classical and contemporary methods to keep learning engaging and relevant.
I work with students to set achievable goals, whether mastering a piece, preparing for auditions, or improving sight-reading skills. Regular feedback helps guide progress and build confidence. My goal is to develop a strong foundation in Piano while exploring each student’s unique musical interests, fostering both technical skill and creative expression.
