About Lydia
My teaching approach for piano combines technical skill with creative expression. I’m a piano tutor with over 7 years of experience and a Bachelor of Music Education focused on voice. Rhythm is my heartbeat, I love lessons that make you move and feel the groove. Syncopation, swing, and creative rhythms are my favourite ways to bring music to life.
I teach students how to accompany singers confidently, adding flair and expression to every performance. We explore jazz voicings, chord colours, and harmonic textures that make your playing rich and exciting. I also guide learners in creating rhythmic variations that make songs bounce with energy.
