About Russell

I have been teaching for 18 years in many different school districts, private tutoring, and most importantly - my own children and grandchildren. I have taught all kinds of learning styles and learning abilities. If there is something you are struggling with, we will find a way to overcome it.

About the lesson

I adapt all of my lessons to the needs and learning style of my students. If one way does not work, we will work together to find a learning style that does. I use real world examples and explanations to answer the age old question of "why do I need to know this? or How will I use this in real life?"

Russell has shown a love for math and science since we were kids. It only makes sense that he would become a math teacher. I have requested his help several times with math questions for my children and self. Russell explains things very well and in a way that will be easy to recall. He is not only knowledgeable but also very patient. Russell will go above and beyond to ensure understanding and that his students have a firm grasp of the material he is teaching. I highly recommend Russell as a tutor and/or teacher. He exhibits professionalism and a true love for teaching.
