About Beatrice
My name is Beatrice, I was born and raised in Milano but moved to the Netherlands about six years ago to pursue my studies in Art History. I’m creative and easygoing, with a passion for film, art, and literature.
Learning languages from a young age allowed me to broaden my horizons, travel, study, and connect with people from all over the world. This has inspired me to start teaching my native language.
After several experiences as a volunteer tutor, I decided to begin teaching privately, by offering online classes that allow me to dedicate more time to my academic studies.

My main concern in teaching is to offer a stimulating and safe environment where students can feel comfortable speaking without fear of making mistakes. A language is best learned by using it, therefore I encourage active engagement through different plans built for the student’s needs, goals, and objectives.
I teach for all levels, from total beginner to advanced. For anyone wishing to learn Italian, either for travelling, work, studying abroad, or getting closer to a loved one.
My teaching methods include:
- Conversation to improve fluency and pronunciation
- Vocabulary through real-life situations
- Use of authentic materials and media (literature, films, videos, dialogues)
- Grammar explained within real-life contexts
