I emphasise basics like proper grip, technique, timing, and rudiments while incorporating musicality and expression. Interactive Learning: I combine theory with practical application, encouraging students to play along with tracks, improvisation, and learning songs they love. Progressive Challenges: As students advance, I introduce more complex rhythms, styles, and drumming concepts to expand their skill set. Typical Length of a Lesson: My lessons usually run for 60 minutes. However, I'm flexible based on the student's preference and learning pace. Qualifications/Experience as a Tutor: I've been teaching drums for several years, accumulating experience in catering to various skill levels and age groups. Holding a Grade 6 Certification from Rock School London in drums adds credibility to my teaching approach and ensures a structured understanding of drumming essentials. I've had the opportunity to work with students of different backgrounds, ages, and musical preferences, which has enriched my teaching style. Target Audience for Lessons: Level: Beginners to intermediate players looking to hone their skills or delve deeper into specific techniques. Age: I'm comfortable teaching all age groups.
