About Finn
My teaching approach to Violin is centered around compassion, communication, creativity, and accountability. I create a supportive environment where students feel comfortable expressing themselves and exploring their musical interests. I use a variety of teaching methods, including hands-on demonstrations, visual aids, and engaging exercises to cater to different learning styles.
In addition to Violin, I incorporate music theory, ear training, and sight-reading into lessons, helping students understand the foundation of music and develop their skills more effectively. I encourage creativity by allowing students to choose pieces they love and explore improvisation. By holding students accountable for their practice and progress, I ensure they stay motivated and committed to their musical journey. Together, we will build a strong foundation in violin playing while fostering a genuine love for music.

I am a passionate Violin tutor with over 8 years of experience teaching high school and college students. I have successfully guided 150-200 students in mastering the instrument, focusing on both technique and musical expression. My teaching philosophy centers on making learning enjoyable and accessible. I believe in creating a positive environment where students feel comfortable exploring their creativity. Many of my students have achieved significant milestones, including winning local competitions and earning scholarships for music programs. I strive to inspire and motivate each student, helping them reach their full potential and develop a lifelong love for music.
