About Ankur

I am a professional web developer who builds websites for international clients every day. I know that WordPress looks easy, but it can get very confusing once you actually start. I have seen many people get stuck with broken themes or slow websites because they missed the basics.

You should not have to pay an expensive agency every time you want to change a photo or add a product. I have a practical, hands-on style. We will not spend time on boring theory. We will build a real website together, step by step. I use simple English and I am very patient, so even if you have never written a line of code, you will feel comfortable.

WordPress has always fascinated me due to its versatility and user-friendly nature. It enables individuals to create beautiful websites without extensive coding knowledge. My interest in this field began when I wanted to establish my website for a personal project. I found WordPress to be the perfect platform and started diving deeper into its functionalities. As I learned and experimented, my passion for WordPress grew, and I realized that I could help others benefit from this amazing platform too.
What or who is the motivation behind you choosing to teach & why?
The main motivation behind my decision to teach WordPress is the joy of empowering others with valuable skills. Witnessing my students grow, gain confidence, and create their websites brings me immense satisfaction. Teaching allows me to be a part of their journey, and it's rewarding to see them succeed in their online ventures.
How does your work help society?
My work helps society by fostering digital literacy and online presence. In today's interconnected world, having a well-designed website is essential for businesses, freelancers, and even personal projects. By teaching WordPress, I contribute to a more digitally equipped society where individuals can express themselves and their businesses effectively on the web.
If you had to think of a role model for your work, who do you think of & why?
When I think of a role model for my work, I'm inspired by Matt Mullenweg, the co-founder of WordPress. His vision and dedication to making website creation accessible to everyone have revolutionized the online landscape. He has shown that with the right tools and mindset, individuals can have a significant impact on the internet, and I strive to share this ethos with my students.
Tell us about your hobbies outside teaching.
Outside of teaching, I have a few hobbies that keep me energized and creative. I love photography, especially capturing nature and candid moments. It allows me to appreciate the beauty of the world around me and provides a different perspective on life. Additionally, I enjoy hiking, which not only keeps me physically active but also lets me unwind and reconnect with nature.
Do you have an anecdote to tell us about your student or professional life?
One fond anecdote from my teaching experience involves a student who initially felt overwhelmed by the idea of creating a website. Through patient guidance and breaking down complex concepts, I helped them gain confidence in using WordPress. Eventually, they built a stunning portfolio website that impressed their potential clients. Witnessing their growth and transformation from uncertainty to success was truly inspiring.
