About Monalisa

I did a BSc (Honours) in Biomedical Science and a masters by research in Cardiovascular Science at Newcastle University. While being at university, I taught many students undertaking their GCSE in Biology. Additionally, I did a summer placement at the Institute of Neuroscience within the Newcastle General Hospital where I investigated the causes of Alzheimer’s disease and taught A level students about brain damage and the therapies and medicines available to treat these pathologies.

About the lesson

I am very flexible, in fact I usually get to know my student in order to find out the best and most effective way to deliver my lessons. Usually, I explain a topic, then ask my students questions to see if they understood it, subsequently I clarify any misunderstanding or re-explain the topic.

Monalisa is a truth worthy tutor because she makes sure you understand every topic and lesson therefore she makes you study hard until you have a very good understanding of what you are struggling with. The way she teaches is so fun but serious at the same time and i love it.
