About Samantha
I am a certified teacher of twelve years in the Upper Peninsula of Michigan. I earned my undergraduate degree from Central Michigan University in Elementary and Middle School Math Education. I taught 6/7th grade Math for six years and then earned my Master’s Degree in Education from Davenport University. I then taught 4th grade Math for 6 years. I am now home on Maternity leave with my baby girl. I plan to continue tutoring even when I go back so I look forward to working with your child for some time to come!

Do you need a different perspective to understand math? I often work with students who don’t “get math” at the start of the year and are excited to work through math problems by the end of the year.
